JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon Begins Closing Accounts Of People Employed In The Adult Entertainment Industry

JPMorgan Chase made headlines in finance media last year when it refused to give long time Chase customer, Marc L. Greenberg a loan on his California home. Greenberg, the producer behind such late-night Cinemax soft-core porn classics like “Co-Ed Confidential” and “The Best Sex Ever,”  and made for TV classics like “Deviant Co-Eds” is suing JPMorgan Chase in Los Angeles Superior Court claiming lending discrimination.

Greenberg who was a Chase securities customer and home loan customer with an annual income of more than $500,000 and a net worth of more than $10 million, naturally assumed that the process would go smoothly and relatively quickly when he went to apply for home loan on one of his properties in Marina Del Rey, California.

After being jerked around by JPMorgan Chase  for several months, Greenberg sued JPMorgan Chase in Los Angeles Superior Court claiming lending discrimination.

Now Jamie Dimon and his morality squad are now going through the personal accounts of their account holders and closing the accounts of people they suspect are in the adult entertainment industry.

Now word is spreading among the adult entertainment industry that JPMorgan Chase’s Maiden Lane Morality Squad is closing the accounts of people employed in the porn industry.

Adult Entertainer Teagan Presley posted on Perez Hilton’s site reads. “We recently reviewed your account and determined that we will be closing it on May 11, 2014. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.“

On April 21, Teagan Presley (real name Ashley Erickson Lehman) Tweeted to her 187K followers that Chase was closing her personal account. She’s had the account since she was 18. She said she uses it to buy groceries and pay for gymnastics for her kids.

Presley’s husband and film director, Joshua Lehman told Business Insider via email he also had his Chase account closed, “The branch and telephone bankers said it was because of our industry but their executive branch said no it wasn’t and categorically denied this,”

After the Lehmans began sharing their letter, it was a apparent that this was a witch hunt against people who are employed in the adult entertainment industry.

According to Julia La Roche at Business Insider, “People are definitely paying attention to this story. There’s now a #BoycottChase hashtag. There’s also an online petition with over 6,000 signatures as of this morning.“
