Japanese Sugar Baby Going To Prison For 9 Years

Japanese Court Sentences Japanese Sugar Baby To 9 Years In Prison For Defrauding 3 Men Out Over $1 Million 

japanese sugar babyA court in Nagoya, Japan has handed a 25-year-old Japanese sugar baby a nine-year prison sentence. Prosecutors alleged Watanabe Mai met men on dating apps. She then defrauded them out of more than 155,263 million Yen from 2021 through 2023. To make things worse for herself, she then sold a manual detailing how to carry out similar scams.

Mai Watanabe, also known as “Itadaki Joshi Riri-chan.”

“Itadaki Joshi Riri-chan” translates as “sugar baby Riri,”

The court also fined Watanabe $52,000.

The court’s ruling states Watanabe defrauded three men in their 50s out of a total of around 55.8 million yen between 2021 and 2023.

The Kyodo news agency says Watanabe swindled one victim out of 117 million yen ($756,000). The court also founded she had convinced him that she needed the money to pay off a debt. A story she used to defraud the other two men.

The court also stated Watanabe blew the money at male host clubs in Tokyo’s Kabukichō district.

Female customers pay for male company at these clubs and are often poured drinks and flirted with by male hosts.

The court also convicted Watanabe of creating a manual on how to execute similar scams.

The Jiji Press news agency said Watanabe sold the manual to a 21-year-old woman in 2022. She later aided her in swindling someone out of about 10 million yen ($64,000).

The Japanes Court also convicted Watanabe of evading income tax. She allegedly hid about a quarter of the scam’s proceeds.

Being a sugar baby can be financially rewarding. Watanabe is rumored to have gotten paid as much as $500 for dates. Sugar Daddies would treat her to designer clothes and expensive dinners. In addition to stays in luxury hotels.
