Ex-Quicken Loans Executive Noah Ravenscroft Stabs Wife To Death While Children Watch In Horror

Former Quicken Loans executive Noah Ravenscroft killed his wife with a kitchen knife. He then stabbed himself in their Michigan home while his three children hid in a bedroom upstairs.

The couple’s ten-year-old daughter called 911 on Monday. She told the 911 dispatcher that her parents were fighting and that her father was getting a knife.

Noah Ravenscroft answered the door when police arrived just after 9.30pm. A blood-soaked Ravenscroft told Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies that his wife was dead.

Officers found Kristy Ravenscroft’s body on the living room floor of the couple’s Commerce Township home. EMS rushed her to the hospital where she pronounced dead.

Police found the couple’s three children, aged four, ten and 12, hiding on the second floor of the house.

Kristy Ravenscroft had been stabbed multiple times and a kitchen knife believed to be the murder weapon was taken in as evidence.

Noah Ravenscroft was treated for self-inflicted stab wounds and booked into Oakland County Jail.

Ravenscroft was charged with first-degree murder on Wednesday. The judge also ordered that he have no contact with his children or wife’s family.

The former Quicken Loans executive began his career at the lender in 2005. He held various positions over the years before resigning in December as a Senior Vice President.

Family friend Tammy Lowe has organized a GoFundMe page to raise money for Kristy’s funeral.

Lowe wrote on Facebook:

Kristy was a very dedicated mom, and her husband seemed to work long hours to take care of his family. They enjoyed camping, and her kids are beautiful and have been in our Sunday school classes.

She also said that the family seemed happy and that the couple had recently gone on a vacation.
