Breaking Bad Actor Steven Michael Quezada Accused Of Election Fraud
Breaking Bad Actor Steven Michael Quezada is officially under investigation by the New Mexico State Police. The criminal investigation centers around allegations of election fraud in the Bernalillo County Commission District 2 race.
The Breaking Bad actor won the GOP race for the seat in November. Yet, he may never be sworn in if the allegations prove true.
Patricia Paiz served Quezada with a lawsuit in November. Paiz claims Quezada did not fill out or sign his own candidacy paperwork. She also claims Quezada never signed key election documents. In addition, Paiz alleges Cherise Quezada signed the paperwork instead. Cherise Quezada is the wife of the Breaking Bad actor.
Furthermore, The lawsuit has now received the attention of the New Mexico State Police and they are now investigating the allegations.
Blair Dunn is representing the former police officer who lost to Quezada in November.
Dunn told KOB-TV in Albuquerque:
“He didn’t sign that document. It’s very much his wife’s handwriting writing in his name without his signature. The election code provides for criminal penalties for falsifying election documents.
As a result, Quezada responded with photos said to show Quezada holding his election paperwork the day it was signed.
