Donald Trump’s Revenge! Trump Has His “Department of Revenge” Indict Letitia James For Mortgage Fraud

The Department of Justice has indicted New York Attorney General Letitia James. This is all part of Donald Trump’s revenge plans. The question is, who’s next as Trump carries out delusional revenge fantasies through his “Department of Revenge.”

Sources told CNN that James was indicted in federal court in Virginia, and did not offer details of the indictment. 

James was pivotal in a successful civil suit against Trump in February 2024 for business fraud.

The DOJ has had been investigating the New York AG for mortgage fraud since May. It all started when FHFA Director Bill Pulte alleged that she lied on a mortgage document. The mortgage was to help her niece buy a home in Virginia.  

The allegations center on a document related to the Virginia home James purchased in 2023. James’s attorney says mortgage records incorrectly showed that the property would be her primary residence. They say that it was a mistake.

They also say that it’s the only document that indicated the primary residence designation. James’s attorney Abbe Lowell said the rest of the loan documents accurately say the home wouldn’t be James’ primary residence.

U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia Lindsey Halligan unsealed the indictment. 

Halligan’s moves against the Trump foes followed the resignation of her predecessor Erik Sieber. Sieber left the US Attorney’s office after he reportedly because he refused to participate in Trump’s revenge plots.
