US Court of Appeals In Washington DC Revokes Pro-Trump Attorney Kenneth Chesebro’s Law License
Court of Appeals has stripped Trump attorney Kenneth Chesebro of his law license. However, the order only applies in the nation’s capital. The state of New York revoked Cheseboro’s law license there earlier in the year.
Cheseboro masterminded the 2020 plot to overturn the GOP’s election loss. Cheseboro was the architect of an infamous memo that detailed how to create teams of fake electors for Trump. The fake electors would claim to be the actual electors of states where former President Joe Biden had won.
GOP political strategist John Eastman helped Cheseboro outline how these electors could be used for then-Vice President Mike Pence to disqualify the real electors. Thus, throwing the presidency to a vote in the House to Trump. Thus giving Trump a majority of state delegations.
Pence ultimately did not move forward with this plan. The former VP believed the plan was unconstitutional. Various state AGs prosecuted many of those fake elector slates.
