Where does GOP Senate Candidate Live?

GOP US Senate Candidate Mike Rogers appears to be committing homestead property tax fraud. The Lee County, Florida Tax Assessor shows Rogers is claiming a homestead tax exemption on his Cape Coral home. He bought the overpriced posh 5-bedroom home for $1.6 million in 2022.

Online descriptions of Rogers’ Cape Coral home call it an “estate.”

Zillow.com also says 4,700 square foot house offers “EXCEPTIONAL WATERFRONT LIVING!”

Rogers is also claiming a homestead tax exemption on a 748 square foot house in suburban Oakland County, Michigan. He bought it in July 1, 2023. He then tore down the house and is currently having his brother Bill, a contractor and local official build a new home for him. Yet, state voter registration information shows Rogers is registered to vote in Livingston County, Michigan

The house in White Lake does not have a certificate of occupancy. That means Rogers could not legally live there.

So where does former FBI Agent Mike Rogers live? Is he pulling a Joe Biden and hiding out in an undisclosed basement? Could he be in Cape Coral getting ready to ride out Hurricane Milton? Is he hiding from leftist agitators?

The Rogers campaign is kind of vague about the question of just where Rogers has been staying. All they are saying is it’s in White Lake Township.

The campaign is blaming everyone from White Lake officials to the “liberal media” and everyone in between. However, one person the campaign doesn’t seem to blame is Rogers’ contractor brother and Genoa Township supervisor, Bill.

The campaign also concedes that Mike Rogers does not live in the house. However, they also refuse to say where  the former congressman is residing.
