Former United Monroe Gruppenführer Dan Castricone Faces Foreclosure On His Tuxedo Home
WOW! It seems like forever since the last time we wrote about Orange County buffoon Dan Casticone. Yes, it’s been 7 years since we wrote about the self-proclaimed Gruppenführer of United Monroe. Unfortunately, Dan Castricone now faces foreclosure on his home at 191 Maplebrook Rd, Tuxedo, NY.
While other members of United Monroe fled after they successfully decimated the town of Monroe, Castricone stuck around. John Allegro sold his home to the Hasidics that he publicly bashed and moved Florida. He was the guy who blasted out a video of him asking an Asian woman to rub his anus. Emily Convers like the Nazis before her fled to Switzerland with her family. But unlike Allegro and Convers, Castricone stuck around Orange County.
In 2016, Allstate customers began contacting Allstate HQ in Illinois informing them of Castricone’s political activites. As a result, Allstate yanked Castricone’s agency in Nanuet that had been in his family for two generations.

After losing his family’s lucrative insurance agency, Castricone then attempted to utilize his law degree from Pace University. Unfortunately for Castricone turned out to be a disaster. The law firm failed miserably.
In 2019, Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus then gave Castricone a lucrative job at Orange County out of pity. Neuhaus appointed him as the county’s Risk Management Officer. It was a job that didn’t require much work since the workload is delegated to junior staff.
It also allowed Castricone still dabble in politics. So, in 2021, Castricone ran for a seat on the Tuxedo Union Free School District Board of Education. Surprisingly with Castricone’s history electoral failures, he won. However, like the handful of other elections he won, Castricone’s tenure was a total clusterfuck. As a result, he resoundingly rejected by voters for a second term.
Castricone also shot himself in the foot. In November 2024, he filed a SLAPP lawsuit against a reporter who called him out for misleading the public. Castricone sued the reporter for defamation. Orange County Sumpreme Court Judge Kyle McGovern ruled the lawsuit was frivolous and a violation New York’s SLAPP lawsuit. Thus, the court ordered Castricone pay the reporter’s attorney fees and costs.
As a result of the failed lawsuit, Castricone lost his re-election bid to the school board.
Dan Castricone Faces Foreclosure On His Tuxedo Park Home
On July 10th, Wilmington Savings Fund Society, FSB filed a foreclosure lawsuit against Castricone and his wife (Case #EF006542-2025). The lender alleges Castricone has not made a payment on the $704,000 mortgage since September 2024. A processor served the short rotund buffoon of a lawyer on July 31st.
On August 23rd, Castricone asnwered the lawsuit on behalf of him and his wife. In his answer, he claims he hired bankruptcy attorney Dawn Kirby and Kirby is preparing a bankruptcy petition.
However, it appears that Castricone may have pulled a fraud on the court. Federal court filings show that Castricone has yet to file a bankruptcy petition. Hmmm….
Dan Castricone Faces Foreclosure From Wells Fargo
On October 13, 2025, Wells Fargo Bank filed a foreclosure lawsuit against Castricone (Case #EF010140-2025). Wells Fargo alleges the Castricones have violated the terms of their $210,000 2nd mortgage on the home.
Why Castricone stopped making payments last year on the mortgages is anyone’s guess. Could it be due to a substance abuse problem or gambling issue? Who knows with Castricone.
