WTBQ Sales Contracts Could Be Ruled Voidable And/Or Unenforceable If Signed By “Taylor Sterling”
WTBQ sales contracts signed by its station manager Taylor Sterling could be voidable because Taylor Sterling is not her real name. This does not bode well for WTBQ Station Owner Frank Truatt.
According to an attorney the legitimacy of WTBQ sales contracts could very well be in jeopardy.
The legal argument is pretty simple. If the name “Taylor Sterling” is used as a pseudonym then an argument could be made that any WTBQ sales contracts are voidable. This is because the person signing the contract on behalf of WTBQ is knowingly using a fictitious name. Therefore, the other party could use it as an excuse to void the contract.
So the big question is how does this affect current advertisers who have signed WTBQ sales contracts. That will be up to the advertisers who signed WTBQ sales contracts. Frank Truatt better get out his checkbook.
MFI-Miami also learned from former advertisers that Taylor apparently bullied potential advertisers into signing contracts. Sterling would become belligerent. Then threaten to bad mouth them on the air if they refused to advertise.
The Many Aliases Of Taylor Sterling
Last week, I wrote about how Taylor Sterling under the name of Joy Taylor filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in 2011. MFI-Miami has learned in the past 24 hours Joy Taylor may have used up to 3 to 4 other aliases since 1993. I use “may” because MFI-Miami is still verifying the information and connecting the dots. It may be a good idea to start referring to Joy Taylor as “Joy Doe”

Joy Doe has regaled WTBQ listeners with bullshit stories about her leading a life of high adventure and success in other professions since joining WTBQ two years ago.
It also appears that Joy Doe spent spent 2010 living La Vita Loca like a Ricky Martin backup dancer in Clearwater, Florida during her stretch of “unemployment” at the expense of New York taxpayers and her credit card companies, JPMorgan Chase and American Express.
