“Fraudulent” foreclosure documents are being used widely to force people from their homes and the issue needs to be addressed in this fall’s political campaign, says Dan Reale, chairman of the Libertarian Party of Connecticut and candidate for Congress in Connecticut’s 2nd District.
Documents containing “robosigning” are “obvious forgeries,” according to Reale, who lives in Plainfield.
“Immediate action is required by our state legislature to end the practice of robosigning,” he said in a press release Thursday. “Our judges, state and federal, need to take immediate action to educate themselves on this issue.”
